· N$200 per team member in Sprint and Endurance.
Event shirt first 200 entrants. An additional 20 shirts will be available after prize giving for those who did not qualify for a shirt.

4 The Race
OANOB. Sunday 07 April
Participants who have pre-entered will not be charged entry to the dam.
Non-participants will be charged entry fee:
Distances:
Enduro: 1.1km/28km/9km
Sprint: 600m/15km/4km
Mini: 300m/4.5km/2km
The distances are an approximation and may change slightly due to route changes.4.1 Swim
4.2 Bike
The swim will be an open water dam swim. Wetsuits are optional. All swimmers must make sure they are numbered prior to the race, regardless of whether they are wearing a wetsuit. Swimmers must not remove their swim caps until they are in transition area.
Timekeepers need to see race numbers on the swim caps to record your swim time. Please note there is limited water safety and we make use of volunteers. If you need assistance please raise your arm in the water. If you do not complete the swim then you must report
to time keeping as a DNF (Did not Finish).
All handlebars must be plugged and proper fitting helmet worn.
Competitors are to mount and dismount at the designated area.
Cyclists must keep left. Cyclists who fail to do so may be disqualified due to danger of collision, especially were there is two directional traffic
Cycling is not permitted in transition zone or on the red carpet.
4.3 Run
The run is an off-road run. Mostly of the run route is not on proper trails. There is a lot of up and down which make it a tough route.
Parts of the run go over lose stones and rocks and runners may need to cross rivers – which may be flowing.
The route will be marked with bunting (tape) and marshals.4.4 Transition area
The transition area is for individual participants only.
Please show consideration to others when in and around the transition area especially when the race is on. Do not “hang-out” in or around transition area when you have finished your race as others may still be racing.5 Safety
Participants need to assess for themselves (and /or minors) whether they are fit enough to take part.
Swim route has limited rescue assistance.
The event is an off road and all the usual inherent hazards apply to an event of this type
All participants are required to sign an indemnity form and take part in event at own risk.6 General Rules
Participants are expected to partake in the spirit of the event and conduct themselves in a sportsmanship like manner at all times.
People participating in the event do so at their own risk and the event organisers, sponsors and local authorities are not responsible for any loss or injury however that loss or injury may be caused.
